Ms. Oxenstierna leads the Aerospace and Defense Group at the Bank Street Group. She has over 16 years of experience providing corporate strategy and M&A advisory services in the aerospace and defense industry, government policy arena and financial services sector. She was Director of Corporate Development and Strategy at Raytheon Company and also served as Director of European Strategy in London. Her prior government experience in the White House, U.S. Departments of State and Energy, and NATO Headquarters is complemented by her combat operational knowledge as a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Ms. Oxenstierna was most recently a Senior Vice President and Global Head of Equities Strategy at Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., responsible for strategy creation and internal business development for the $6 billion division, covering all financial services products across Americas, Europe and Asia. She holds a Ph.D. in War Studies from King's College London and a M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, a joint program with the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. She studied corporate finance at Harvard Business School, and has a B.A. in International Relations from University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of WIIS, NDIA, AFCEA and AUVSI, and has published articles on geopolitical-military issues, held press interviews, and received awards for her professional work.
